Seeking Help Seeking Help with Card hold and Ad Spend Issues on Facebook Ads

Hello,

I'm encountering some issues with my Facebook Ads account that I hope someone can help me resolve.

  1. Card Hold Issue: I am trying to add a payment card to my Facebook Ads account, but I keep facing errors. The system does not seem to accept my card, and I am unable to proceed with any campaigns. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a solution?
  2. Ad Spend probleme (preparing) : Additionally, my ads are active, but they are not spending any amount. Despite being live, there's no spend or impressions being registered. I am not sure what is causing this and how to fix it.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or solutions from those who have faced and resolved similar problems. Thank you in advance for your help!

these issues can be frustrating. double-check that your card details are entered correctly and that the billing address matches exactly with your bank’s records. Facebook can be strict about these details. If that doesn’t help, try contacting your bank to ensure they’re not blocking the transaction, as some banks flag Facebook transactions as potential fraud.

this might because of low bid or budget settings - if your bid is too low or your budget is limited, your ads might not enter the auction. You might want to consider your audience size too in case of overlap - check if your audience is too narrow or overlaps with other campaigns, which can prevent ads from spending. Also, there could be account or ad review delays. Sometimes, Facebook delays ad reviews without notifying, so try pausing and reactivating the campaign or creating a duplicate to see if it starts spending.

I'd reach out to Facebook support through your account’s Help section. Let us know what you get

Ariel is spot on. FB flags irregularities. They also flag some cards, especially debit cards from banks/bank accounts in flagged countries.
