If I've a site that tries to sell custom polo shirts</a> online and I'm trying to maximize it through advertising in do follow forums. Any help here?

i think i got what he is trying to say.for me if you want to generate more traffic in your website, yes its better to maximize it through advertising in do follow forum. this is one of many ways you must do.

Try to find dofollow link forums that are niche related to your website. For example in the case of polo T shirts you'll want to find a clothing or men's fashion forum for optimal results from search engines.

I believe you are looking for both of them, so to accomplish such a goal you have to read and read and read more... don't ask anything until you understand the basics...
