You ALWAYS have to read the agreement you're signing with the affiliate network to make sure you know their payment conditions.

That is the truth and most people do not read the agreement.

That said, most of the internet agreements are very high risk and one sided in general.
The integrity and financial stability of the offering party is always to be vetted before you invest considerable money and resources into an agreement where you have no real control.
Most the time if things go bad your only realistic option to to just walkaway and harbor bad feelings toward the counterpart.

Some of the TOS of affiliate programs are so one sided and objectionable i just say to myself --"you're fookin nuts" and then just close the site and forget they exist --I won't invest time and money into a bad deal.
Learn to read these agreements and learn to read between the lines. If someone sounds like a Nazi they probably are.
