Spam - An element of Zeitgeist present?

The founder of Internet archives was on the radio the other day saying that they arrive everything online including spam, the reason being that we can look back in a few years and see what was in vogue at a particular time of the Internet development, I could not agree more.

I noticed that spam I receive have a trend as well, a few years ago, the main spam coming through were porn related, this seem to make way for Nigeria 419 fraud emails, which in turn seem to give way to pirated software, lately the spam I have been receiving are Viagra and penis enlargement.

I wonder what will be the next big thing for spammers.
