Success of Firefox

If you want to get an accurate idea of how well Firefox is doing in increasing its market share, reading the various reports on the net from different stats companies and "experts" will probably leave you in a state of confusion.

The only consensus seems to be that its percentage has been variable since about June.

What I was wondering is what do you guys think are its chances of becoming a significant contender to IE, for example getting above, say 30%

Also what effect does this have on you as a webmaster

Well already it has some good percentages on one of my sites it was 27% for the last month and it is increasing!
I beleive that one day people will use firefox more than IE
