Tesla Model S sedans get recalled over seatbelt problem

Tesla does not have the model years for its cars, but the voluntary recall affects all variants including P85D. Tesla motors have announced that it is now engaged in the largest recall ever of all its 90,000 cars from the Model S variant on account of a single report of the front seat belt not connected properly.

Consequently, shares of Tesla fell.

Gee, is there even one car company who hasn't had to do a recall? Seems like none of them are put on the lot without at least one safety failing.
