This would have been easier to answer if you said about the type of clients you need or what type of business you do. But since there is no example, I am going to give you example.

Let's say you run a forum or a blog, and you go to other forums that are similar to yours both in ranking and niche. Then you see something like banner adverts there with the price of each ad spot.

I know a particular forum that shows this. Click on the banner ads, and land on the advertisers website, on the footer, you can contact them, tell them how and where you found them, and about your site, and offer them an advertising space at a cheaper rate, comparing to what they used to pay on where you found them.

This is not a great method because it's like cheating on your colleague or something like that, but it could way you can land clients faster.
