Hey! Just a quick question here, can you please be more specific in terms of where to get the Test link? much appreciated! a screen shot of where an individual would grab the link would be great! Thanks!!

UPDATE:

We've just released an update that includes these features:

1) Conversion testing links (just go into an individual campaign to grab the link) that you can give to networks or whoever that needs a test link to test tracking

2) IP redirection rules - you can specify a list of IPs or specify IP ranges

3) URL Parameter redirection rules - redirect visitors based on parameters in URL

4) OS version redirection rules - can specify version ranges

Facebook "Pre-Fetch" Clicks Inflating Stats

Firstly, if you've been running Facebook traffic lately, you may have experienced an increasing level of click inflation.

What happens is the number of clicks tracked in your tracker is WAY higher than what is actually logged in your Facebook account and what Facebook actually charges you.

What is causing this? This page explains it:

The good news is that now Thrive automatically filters out all of these non-legitimate "pre-fetched" clicks! Some discrepancy between different platforms will always occur, but there should be no more drastic data inflation going forward.


Browser Language Redirection Rules

It's taken awhile for this one to be deployed, but you can now create redirect rules based on different browser languages.

You can set a rule that covers a specific language overall ("All French"), or you can set the language to redirect only for specific regions.
 
Flagging Whitelisted/Blacklisted Traffic Source Variables in Tracker

Thrive tracks the performance of custom variables such as keywords, geo-targets, site IDs, publishers, demographics, and much more from your traffic sources, but when you do something with those custom variables on those traffic source, such as blacklisting a particular underperforming keyword or increasing the bid of a well-performing geo target, there isn’t anything you could do to remind yourself in Thrive, until now.

For example, let’s say a custom variable you’re tracking are Adwords Keywords that you’re bidding on. Let’s say Thrive reports that a certain keyword has been performing very poorly on your traffic source.

You then go into your traffic source and blacklist this particular keyword so you don’t bid on it any further going forward. But, when checking stats in Thrive, you would later on forget that you blacklisted that keyword.

Now, we give you the ability to flag this keyword via the Thrive interface so that you will always know this site ID has been blacklisted.

To flag a custom variable, go to the Other Variables section of an individual campaign. Hover over any of your custom variables and click the little flag icon to flag:

The little blue flag icon in the above screenshot would indicate a custom variable that was previously flagged, and you can un-flag it, if you’d like.

Here we have an example of flagging a blacklisted keyword, but you could use these flags for whatever purpose you wanted.

With the start of Q4 I want to first wish everyone a successful quarter and ending to the year. It has been an amazing year of growth, tools, and expansion on our end and I hope the same for you.
