Let me begin by saying that I don't like American Idol so I don't watch it. I'll keep my reasons to myself.

Those of you who watch it and have been watching it since it started probably have your own idea of the best performances and chances are that not everyone will agree.

Well I'm a proud AI nerd and remember most of these performances listed. I definitely think David Cook's Billy Jean performance should be higher on the list. That was amazing.

I question some of the entries, but Fantasia does deserve #1 for Summertime. I think that Clay Aiken's performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" should be on there, though.
