The links shown below some of Google's search results, called sitelinks, are meant to help users navigate your site. Our systems analyze the link structure of your site to find shortcuts that will save users time and allow them to quickly find the information they're looking for.

The odds of an affiliate seeing this with a typical WordPress 'SEO' website is about nil.
Substantial and topic relevant LARGE websites will attain this with just basic effort --but only on a search using their trade name.
Local business can get this also (where the search is relevant)
Of course there are exceptions :D SEO Snake oil

If you really want specific site links (example 4 sections on your site) arrange your content like this
Root domain, www.whatever.com
Category A folder, www.whatever.com/category-a/
Category B folder, www.whatever.com/category-b/
Category B folder, www.whatever.com/category-c/
Category B folder, www.whatever.com/category-d/
  1. Create 4 information clusters on your home page (one for each category A,B,C,D)
  2. Publish regular content to each category
  3. Don't put any other links on the homepage between header menu & footer links
  4. Menu links should be the 4 categories
  5. Footer links also the 4 categories
  6. If you are using an SEO plugin label these 4 categories as 'key pages'
  7. Keep updating each category with new content
  8. Wait 1-2 months and chances are your site links will appear
As @Graybeard says "Substantial and topic relevant LARGE websites will attain this with just basic effort --but only on a search using their trade name" and this is very accurate statement

Unless you are a big site its not worth the effort

Sitelink extensions take people to specific pages on your site (for example, a specific product or store hours). When someone clicks or taps on your links, they go directly to what they want to know or buy. In this article, you'll learn how sitelinks extensions work and appear in eligible campaigns.

In what article? Are you copying and pasting again?

Root domain, www. whatever.com
Category A folder, w----tever.com/category-a/
Category B folder, ww----whatever.com/category-b/
Category B folder, www----er.com/category-c/
Category B folder, www---w-----r.com/category-d/

This is best done with proper server rewrites when you have a large number of categories you do not need physical directories (folders)

Hello

Sitelinks are links to other pages (or sections of a page) that appear under some Google search results. They help users navigate to relevant information on a website quickly.

Sitelinks are generally a hyperlink to your website pages, they appear on google search console to help users navigate the site. The site owner cannot add any sitelinks; Google adds them through its own secret automated algorithms.

Sitelinks in general serve to provide more info to your ad, especially because regular ads have a limitation on how many characters you can add to the title and description, and it's usually not enough to present all benefits of your offer. Sitelink extensions will be a choice that you can take while making a campaign, and here you can place links that will take people to specific pages on your site. When someone clicks or go directly to what they want to know or buy. It's very useful for e-commerce websites, as you could highlight some most popular products or the ones you want to sell primarily.

Sitelinks are one of the most common search features. They appear in 1.8% of SERPs in Ahrefs’ US database. Nearly every branded term has sitelinks and they also appear on many other queries like informational queries.
Hope this helps.

When you google something in google search with any keyword and get SERP i.e search engine result pages with a meta description in that meta description if a link exists that we call as Sitelinks. Sitelinks help to point to other pages on your website.

Remember sitelinks give a great way to increase your CTR.

Note: A good website structure helps to find a way to get site links with good experience and less bounce rate.

I stumbled upon Google Sitelinks the other day and was truly amazed to find out what they were. If you search something on Google, sometimes under the main title you will see various links that go to different pages saying "SITE" or "OTHER SITES." These links are called Google Sitelinks.

These links save time and provide a quick and easier way to see what the other pages on Google are like. Google says that having these links can help your web page rank better by increasing your page views, clicks and user satisfaction. It also increases traffic because it exposes people to more content from your site.

Before I saw Google Sitelinks for the first time, I assumed that it would be something like Yahoo! Site Explorer or Webmaster Tools from MSN where you can add in your url and check to see how many backlinks you have. That was not the case. Google Sitelinks are, in my opinion, the closest thing to getting free advertising of your products or services.

The only real requirement of Google Sitelinks is that you must have a clean, law abiding website with unique content. Everything else is filler and just increases your chances for Google Sitelink approval.
