Hello everyone! I am newbie.
Can you advice me which vertical is more preffered to promote via facebook? I test dating but have no any success there, maybe it is wrong way, and this type of traffic not fits this social network.
Thank you!

The only people allowed to promote Dating ads on Facebook are white listed advertisers and the affiliates that the advertisers have approved.

First, dating sites must become ‘registered dating partners’ before posting an advert on Facebook. This can be applied for via an application form.

The form requires companies to submit test login details, information about any umbrella company and a brief description of the dating service provided.

Ads for adult friend finders or dating sites with a sexual emphasis aren’t compliant. Ads for other online dating services are only allowed with prior authorization from Facebook. Visit the Advertiser Policy site for more detail on how the policy is applied.

Too many rules

I've been accused of the same thing here!

Truth is, a platform the size of FB gives way to a need to satisfy a far greater complexity of humans, resulting in an over emphasized and difficult to maneuver TOS for advertisers.

Yeah, dating on FB is risky, would be wise to go for ecom or something similar, even sweeps if you're working on a smaller budget.

I agree on the conclusion - building your whole business to only be reliant on FB paid traffic is quite risky if you're not in the two categories that Graybeard mentioned.

Facebook wants *brand* (read:name brand products) corporate advertisers --as well as small business; global, regional and local advertisers of *first party* "socially acceptable products."
Maybe that is 80% of their ad revenue?

Second party affiliate offers are a low priority to Facebook and in many cases -- unwanted -- even if you are willing to pay for an ad.

What succeeds today may be disallowed tomorrow.

There are thousands of ways to earn steadily from FB with white hat. Loads of verticals that go unattended, small niches that can be very lucrative, and niches associated with the forbidden fruits on FB that CAN be monetized while being compliant with the FB policies.

If I had adults sites, and wanted traffic from FB, I would most certainly have niche sites catering to loneliness, improving your smile, the psychology of the successful bachelor, how to remedy ugly toes, and so on...

These would be among my FB niches and groups to drive male traffic. Then I would have an adult tab on my menu, something like; "Over 21 Only" and use native ads there that would funnel users to my adult landers, or dating landers, etc.

There are tons of ways to be creative with funnels that do not violate FB Terms and allow you to funnel their traffic in most any direction you like!

As far as I know, Facebook does not like dating, as it offers its dating service. I'm not bad at working with the advertising of goods and information services (through lead forms, for example).

If all the same to consider dating service, then I know two ways of advertising dating through Facebook:
through pre landing page
through messenger (chatbot)

I let hundreds in per day and don't talk to anyone. Most of them are lonely perverts wanting to show you their privates, talk sex or try some sort of scam.

There are tons of people with various reasons for having a need for porn and dating sites. In the end, if it is legal, then it can be promoted without prejudice. Maneuvering social platforms, or other sites, to get their traffic to your offers, simply requires multi-step funnel creation to get them where you need them.

Well, it's possible to having ad even on dating if you test a lot of things and setup a good account. Facebook right now is not paying too much attention about real products if they are not against they tos so it's good to aim this.

Facebook is just like a prostitute -- it sells its soul to the highest bidder.

In Facebook's case, the major corporations that want a place that is a non controversial paid media market to advertise in -- where brands can "pay to play" and muscle their dogma with their money.

Facebook, Inc. offers their "body and soul" to their client -- the same as a prostitute.

So, if you upset the cart Facebook will ban you just like a pimp chasing the competitor's hookers off his corners.
