And here I thought it was just me
BHW seems to ban alot
I am not sure why?
I've had problems with people pm me on warrior forum for sales and their system would catch it and ban them

This forum here is more unique in area of cpa marketing!
Let's catch them little worms!o_O
):((
I stand with you, and i have reported quite a few of them but it gets old pretty fast as i do work as well :D.

But maybe a first post review wouldn't be a bad idea :)

Good point actually - First posts require approval.
But then the workaround is that they make a legit first post and spam afterwards but at least it will annoy/delay them a lot more.

if people post very quickly one after another

They don't seem to be smart enough to realize that posting like crazy, one after the other in rapid succession, puts them on our radar. I sit on the homescreen and watch them if I spot them because I know when they hit the magic number they're gonna need a slap upside the head, or an escort out of the forums altogether.

Free traffic on the Internet bites back -- think about that.
How often is forum posting talked about in SEO terms -- think about that.

*Forum Spam* classic parasitism
Really, it is just desperation in this case instant -- the new user relegated to nonsense spam.

I see quite a few that I'm almost positive are completely new to affiliate marketing and are doing this because somebody told them that's how it's done. Must be a rude awakening to them when they find out they've been kicked in the butt for following somebody's instructions.

If they are human it is really hard to break them down, but IP is one but with all the VPN services in the world that is easy to circumvent and first post review will make them do real posts to them spam later.

It is a conundrum that rattles my brain, to how it is most efficient to hit them. Is there any commonality about them that could be used to stop them? As mentioned earlier by some, they aren't to brainy so find out the commonality and strike them with that. Temporary solution yes, but if any it would hit them hard.

The only one i can think of is to do review of all profiles and check them one by one. Long process and annoying but then it would be harder to do what they do but would sadly also hit others to some extent...

Hello all and especially support.

How is it possible to enjoy this forum anymore when it is SPAMMED with nutra and other bs. Just today i have seen 10+ thread made by bots/spammers and it is getting harder and harder to find time and lust to even get on here.

Can i please be told what is the solution your coming forward with to stop this so the forum can become great again and we get these spammers cancelled out ?

Ty from a worried user.

Im finding this forum quite hard to work with because of this. I'm having a hard time figuring out the genuine from the bots and spammers. I have no idea where and what to post either. Spending time just roaming around with a great programme! Any suggestions?

No bots, We have mitigated bots. These are all human spammers. They take jobs to do this. Here is an ad for an example.

We are going to a paid forum model now, as most of the big boards are doing as a result of this human spam issue.

$1 for a lifetime standard membership.

Everyone can still see the content in the forums, except the private forums, but if they want to post and get involved they will be required to pay $1.

Should start in about a week or two. We will test it for 2 to 4 weeks.

Closing down the forum is a great idea, you know you only get quality people in and in some way it hopefully also heightens the quality of posts and discussions.

And it wasn't a lot of money per post $0.14 haha :D

I woke up today and 7 out of 10 were spam, is no one on at this time? Because i doubt i will be back if something doesn't happen pretty soon. Sorry to say.

Why do you let it get to you so much? Yes it's annoying but it doesn't matter, a lot is/has been done to stop these but as mentioned, were going to be a paid forum which I think will be a lot better.
Don't dwell on the fact you seen some spammy posts and say you won't be back, put your thoughts/energy into genuine posts :D

As of last night, all new registrations must be reviewed and processed by an Admin or Super Mod.

If this can be done with timely approvals over the next few weeks, we'll keep it in place. If it doesn't, then we'll implement the paid verification model.

this is trivial IMHO

if you record all of the spam data you could write a filter using those words proximity.

I'm having a hard time figuring out the genuine from the bots and spammers
Why, the spammers or post bots are obvious in 90% + of the cases to me :)
Now if you mean you are tired of wasting you time reading their spam -- I agree!

Most people here are real people however their skill-sets differ a lot and many are n00bs.

That said, sex toys are a rather narrow market ...

It annoys me because i have to look at it instead of legit and useful threads. That simple :)

Sounds amazing TJ! ;)

$1 should not be a real issue. Read only OK free.
Credit card validation at no charge to the cardholder is another option -- last I checked the cost of a validation was $0.42.
Somehow epoch (adult processor) is validating PayPal accounts too. I don't know the details ...

Is it worth $1 to be able to spam :D

^^^ LOL
all countries accepted EXCEPT: hahahahaha WTF they are *more bad* :p

Hi, Dennis! Have you noticed how nice and clean the forms are since we started the new process of registration approval? Not one single spam post.

It puts a big smile on my face. :D

I think you can take some credit for starting this thread and letting us know how frustrated you were. Hope you are now able to fully enjoy the community.
