What template do you think would work?

So im making a site around cell phones...what template do you think would be good? Im working thru hostgator...so they have a little section that's dedicated to cell phones....any suggestions?

You need to learn to give more information.

Are you using WordPress? or is this an HTML site?

Is this going to be an eCommerce site where you'll need a shopping cart? or an affiliate site where actual orders go through someone else?

There are some decent free wordpress themes on the web that might do what you are looking for and are cellphone "themed". Just google free cellphone themed wordpress templates or something similar.

Agree with Schniek, plenty of good themes out there (Woo etc) including many good free ones.

You may want to google site5 and see what's available.

A good source for "premium" WordPress and eCommerce themes is Premium WordPress Themes, Web Templates, Mobile Themes | ThemeForest - not free but quite inexpensive. I would recommend focusing only on what they call "responsive" templates, i.e., those that reduce naturally for any format from widescreen desktops and laptops down to tablets and smart phones.

The Socrates theme for WordPress would be a good template to use as a beginner affiliate marketer. It is not for free but it can be a very good investment.

One little tip is to Google the type of theme you want...such as "cellphone WordPress themes" and then look in IMAGES instead of the text results. You can see at a glance if there is anything that interests you as many themes will pop up.

That said, many free themes come with a price tag. Some have malicious code embedded. Others have links to other sites, generally at the bottom. So you need to watch out for that.

Another option is to look at other sites that you like and see what themes they are using by checking the credits at the bottom or viewing the source code.

In addition, after you add your WordPress theme to your site, you can look thru the themes in your dashboard and find a number of quality themes that you can add visuals to. This is safer than using free themes.
