Hello everyone,

I am a software engineer interested in starting my journey in affiliate marketing. My first question is: Where do affiliate marketers typically find products to promote? There are many pages out there that contain fake offers or products so you need to choose the right one.

Which platform is the best one?

Thank you in advance!

I don't think saying *fake* is best.
Finding an offer that will be seen by most as a fair to good value is what make the difference.

I'll give you an example: a novelty idea, stainless steel repair plates for furniture frames, shelves etc. I saw this advertised on twitter (X), this seemed useful to me. The social media ad was $19.95 /package of 20 --they sell the same thing at Amazon Prime for $6.99 a package. I bought a pack of 20 there. Good idea in the ad --bad value. Selling the idea an not getting the sale is the salesman's dilemma.

This about selling a product --one that is a commodity --quality being the same --the price matters. Many affiliate offers I have seen are overpriced and not a fair value in the marketplace. If you expect to find and retain affiliates, you must not only have a good product (or service), you must deal fairly with your affiliate. If you don't do that your reputation will precede you and you will fail with affiliates.

AffiliateFix has many verified affiliate networks, and affiliate programs, to choose from. This verification is only that they seem to be responsible and appear to be legitimate. But this is a good start it's staring you right in the face in the top menu bar ...

to find quality products to promote, many affiliates turn to trusted networks like ClickBank, CJ Affiliate, ShareASale, and Rakuten Marketing. These platforms vet their offers and provide a wide range of products across niches, helping you avoid fake or low-quality offers. Each has different specialties, so choose one that aligns with your target market.

Do you have a niche yet, or are you open to exploring various options?
