Google isn't a stupid as it was 15 years ago ...

verify the link's status, use appropriate SEO tools to monitor it, and ensure your overall SEO strategy is solid.

To make your links appear as backlinks, ensure they're placed on indexed, high-authority websites and use tools like Google Search Console to help them get crawled.

Your created link might not update as a backlink due to indexing delays, low domain authority, or improper link placement. Ensure it's placed on a crawlable site and meets search engine guidelines for recognition.

There are several reasons why your created link might not be updating as a backlink:

Indexing Time:It takes time for search engines like Google to discover and index new links. This process can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks.

Link Quality:Search engines prioritize high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites. If your link is on a low-quality or spammy website, it may not be counted.

Link Placement:The placement of your link on the page can also affect its value. Links in the main content area are generally more valuable than those in sidebars or footers.

Nofollow Attribute:If the link has a "nofollow" attribute, it won't pass link equity to your website and won't be counted as a backlink.

Search Console Limitations: Google Search Console only shows a subset of backlinks that it knows about. It may not show all of your backlinks, especially if they are from low-quality or spammy websites.

Here are some tips to help you get your backlinks to update:

Be Patient: Give it some time for search engines to discover and index your new links.

Focus on Quality:Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites.

Check Your Link: Make sure your link is live and working properly.

Use Google Search Console:Monitor your backlinks in Google Search Console to see if they are being indexed.

Submit Your Sitemap: Submit your website's sitemap to Google Search Console to help it discover new pages and links.
