Maybe it's because they want people who can scale campaigns and increase the bids so that they earn more.. I don't know though, doesn't sound logical..
If you go back and re-read the article now, he updated it with a response from Zeropark. They initially rejected it because it made no sense for a affiliate to send users to a non-monetized page in their mind. They said that it's usually a very strong indicated that the real page was being cloaked. Which makes sense, since you see it everyday on facebook and other areas.
I guess I can see their point in wanting to be cautious but wouldn't you think that once he explained that they would give it a look and put an end to it, instead of all the back and forth?
