GENERAL

It's not the best start to November when my target its $100/day and average $56
The big reason is I get distractions & not stay focused on goals
Google Calendar is the biggest help (I also testi Trello and its says free forever - thanks @shaunm for tip)

  • These notes are new, it was good advice from @azgold
  • My commission improving since I took more on-site actions instead of looking for high-paying programs & popular products best seller on Amazon, because customers are seeing everything good and bad with content
  • My main competitor keeps getting better on-site, adding text for SEO, stealing my content ideas like thief in the night and ranking very close to my main site - ok, so we're playing that game are we? I'm now tracking my site against their site in Semrush to see what games are being played
  • Want to make perfect UX for customer so I set up daily site audit with different software (its checking for broken links, page loading speeds, bounce rate, mobile usability, tap target accessibility on smart phone & tablet, content readability, Google rank, Bing rank, and I get email if pre-set thresholds are breached)
  • Making tickets for anything to do and just using Google Calendar for now, but it helps to have count down timer when I begin the task, if it runs out I make new ticket and do something else, maybe I will start using Trello.com that @shaunm noted for ticket management
  • @Graybeard says about server back-ups, and its very important to do this, so I back up twice a day, one back-up stored in cloud (Google Drive), other way back-up in ZIP folder
  • Not about affiliate marketing but I filled bottle 1L water with a lemon cut in half, and so far it keeps me hydrated, focused, and not getting hungry for snacks, after I read this blog about lemons

Means that a competitor thinks you have a good site, obviously. Is he stealing your content, too? Do you have a copyright notice on your articles/site?

Lemon water is my favourite. I just find it refreshing and the extra vitamin C is a bonus. Actually, I like lemon on anything it makes sense to put it on.

You sound super busy but it sounds like things are going in the right direction for you.

  • It's working when I put tickets in spreadsheet & schedule it with Google Calendar, then every morning very early I get today's schedule email on smart phone
  • Site getting much faster since all tech work like checking all the reports in Google Search Console
  • Daily site audit from Semrush found some more tech work & broken links
  • Been reading alot more than normal days since I finished Q4 plan for holiday sales (sharing links in the thread)
  • First time I had 3 days of $100+ commission is a big milestone and the weekend I will have a new site (category family entertainment), but I decide that this thread is only the fashion site, because 1. its alot of work to keep updating 2. they are different niches
  • Today I start learning Google Ads just 30min./day after tasks finished
  • I like reading other people's journey, you can always learn something

  • 80% time (4 hours/day) on-page improvements to make it better for the customer and I research more customer comments on Trust Pilot, Google My Business & competitor sites because I want to understand what question they ask so I can answer it on my site
  • 20% on learning so yesterday 1st time I listen to e-Bay business podcast (good promo ideas for Black Friday & v.helpful link to new e-Bay Seasonal Playbook) --> not affiliate marketing but if you are in product placement niche I recommend you take some notes
  • Also listen to Commission Junction podcast post last week COVID-19 Content Creator Series (avail. Amazon & Spotify)
  • Google Webmaster said today it is rebranding so "Google Webmasters Central" is now "Google Search Central" and "Webmasters Help Community" is now "Google Search Central Community" and the blog has moved URL to developers.google.com/search/blog & the new page layout is big improvement on old Blogger style
  • Plan to launch new site today but I must make more detail in the plans, its so that I can replicate it many times to try earn $1,000/day next year (but I don't want to make more than 5 hours in 1 day), will launch tomorrow, BETA
  • Got started today learning PPC but Google Ads channel on You Tube is very very boring so I just went to create my 1st campaign for text ads, waiting to launch new site before activate PPC campaign
  • Today was another record earning for 2 reasons --> 1, seasonal shopping & 2, pages I improved got more sales, but overall traffic is generally down this month and I have alot of technical & content things to fix
  • Hope to see more updates in the Follow Alongs and Online Journeys
