Seeking Help Clickrate on Trafficjunky (Newbie)

Hello Affiliate Friends,

I have just launched my first campaign on trafficjunky yesterday. The click rate is very low right now and the clicks cost about 20ct. I know after testing the values will go down but I don't know what values I should be looking for.

So what's a good impression to click rate and what's a good cpc I should be aiming for (I'm running dating lead offers on mobile, GEO: Australia)?

Hope someone can help! Wish you guys good profits!

Regards
Jason

$0.20 is not bad really if the traffic converts decently ...

What is the pay-out on the CPA? That needs to be relative to the cost amd to the difficulty of the goal.

With dating leads: you need a 1 in 10 to 15 conversion to make any money probably.

Is your current sample of clicks in the 500 -1000 range yet?

My Adspend is low right now. I think I have to adjust the bidding. The current numbers are 117k impressions 33 clicks and 0 conversions. So not really meaningful right now.

Are your creatives professionally produced?

Are you using a static banner or video banner?

What devices are you targeting?

What demographics are you targeting?

Are you split testing?

I've recreated banners from ones that already work and some I created by myself. They are all gifs. I'm targeting mobile with no specific device type right now. Demographics are Australia. I'm split testing 10 different banners and 2 landers. but until now the results are pretty the same with all variants.

  • Can you at least track the keyword placement of your ads?
  • Are you using a tracker?
  • Can you download the data of the views/impressions AND clicks and sort them by the keyword used?
I have used keywords that represent the pictures in my banners and matched the writing with them too! Currently I'm using BeMob as a Tracker but I don't know if I can download the views/impression and sort them by keyword. But I track every banner as a different campaign in BeMob and test a/b with all of them. I'm also sorting out ad placements on TJ that don't work. This way I hope I can find one or more placement/creative/landing combinations that work. Is keyword tracking in general important with tube traffic or is the tracking and sort out process I'm doing right now enough to get high ROIs?

Hey-hey!
TrafficJunky is our partner, so we could help you to find the most profitable AU offers for their traffic, based on EPC.

Traffic Junky is owned by MindGreek and the traffic is both type-in and arbitrage from their affiliate programs.
Tube traffic is low conversion rate traffic in general.

When there are no referring pages shown you don't really know the source. This is a major issue with traffic in general.

You need to use keywords targeting --but you have to identify just how the keyword is applied
I don't know if I can download the views/impression and sort them by keyword.

If you ask the support for Traffic Junky what of this is used for keyword segmentation:
Masked NSFW

Bash:
zcat /path/datasets/pornhubDB/pornhub.com-db.zip |head -1|cut -d'|' -f4-11
Heather brooke swallo from condom|ideepthroat.com;pornstar;swallow;blowjob
;fetish;cum;big-tits;fake-tits|
Blowjob;Pornstar;Verified Models|Heather Harmon|99|2652540|3165|479

I just got the webmaster database and could design a MySQL table for this data.
Sorta hit and miss about dating however.
But without knowing the methodology of the keyword segmentation I am just wasting my time ...

there are 84,3501 unique keywords , 35,830,102 repeating keywords.
I think if the ad creatives and text were more specific to the keywords, Like: meet skinny (or plump) moms (or teens) the conversion rate might improve.

Bash:
wc -l keyword-count-pornhub.csv
843501 keyword-count-pornhub.csv

awk '{s+=$1} END {printf "%.0f\n", s}' keyword-count-pornhub.csv
