Not that long. I have a home connection which takes about 60 seconds to restart and I also have those little wi-fi things like this:
Which take about 20 seconds.
You can also use something like HideMyAss however that will still take around 20-30 seconds per restart.
Also I should have mentioned that to be really on the safe side I also run CCleaner in between each restart to clear my cache, cookies etc.
All of this could even just be overkill but my accounts are so valuable to me that I'm willing to be overly cautious.
