Hello Affliatefix members
We have prepared a short post on understanding which push notifications are compiled into your native ad campaigns. This is a common practice used by many companies in order to gain higher revenue in a relatively short time. Taking advantage of push traffic’s low cost and mixing it into the native will get you more clicks, at a lower price.
These are the giveaways that tell you that native ads are currently mixed up with push notifications:
- Push networks drive traffic at the resurgence at specific times. If you are experiencing low traffic with a sudden jump of 10,000 clicks, and then a decline, this might be push notifications;
- If the push notifications are of poor quality, then you get a high bounce rate. You will see that the time on the site and PPV (page per view) will be significantly less than on the native ads. Generally, low-quality push notifications lead to irrelevant leads or fake leads;
- Several clicks on one ad unit within a very short time;
- As the price rises, the sources grow unevenly, usually push campaigns are cheaper so if a bunch of such traffic appears abruptly, then it means you have push;
- A disparity between the show’s IP and click’s IP.
