Need Feedback on My Affiliate Setup – Java Burn Campaign (ClickBank)

Hey everyone!


I'm new to affiliate marketing and would really appreciate your feedback to know if I’m heading in the right direction.


I’ve started promoting a product from ClickBank (Java Burn – weight loss niche) and here’s everything I’ve done so far:

• Built a bridge page (screenshot/image attached)
• The page is simple, clean and focused on the offer
• I’m sending traffic using Google Ads and testing Meta Ads (Instagram/Facebook)
• I created short motivational videos for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels (lifestyle content, no product packaging)
• I installed the Google Ads conversion tag on my site
• I used keywords like “Java Burn”, “fat-burning coffee”, “natural metabolism booster”, etc.
• I also created sitelinks, headlines, descriptions — following Google Ads best practices
• I got some clicks and hops, even a few “Initial Order Form Impressions” on ClickBank, but no sales yet

I’m currently using this audience targeting on Meta Ads:


Location: United States - California
Age: 25 to 40
Audience controls:

• Interests: Coffee, CrossFit (fitness), Healthy habits (lifestyle content), Health and wellness (personal care), Fitness, Working out, and "Healthy Weight Loss"
• Narrowed further by: Interest in Online Shopping (retail)

Advantage+ audience is ON, but I'm using the interest suggestions above to guide it.
Age minimum is 25, location optimization is turned OFF.

• Am I going in the right direction?
• What would you improve if you were in my place?
• Is this offer (Java Burn) still worth promoting, or should I try another?

Right now, I’m targeting only California because my budget is small for the moment.
I do have money to invest, but I want to see the business working first, gain confidence in the process, and better understand how everything works.


Once I have more data and some validation, I plan to expand to other regions and scale the campaign more aggressively.

Holy Crap, a newbie with a plan! This is refreshing. I don't know you (yet), but you having a thoughtful approach, wanting to learn, and planning on investment shows more than promise. It sets you apart from most. Stay on that path, follow through with the demands to succeed and you'll do quite well.

That said, here are a few thoughts that might help you optimize and get better results:

1 – About the offer (Java Burn):

It’s a well-known offer, but it’s been around for a while. That usually means it’s been heavily promoted, and in many cases, it’s already saturated.

I’m not saying it doesn’t convert anymore, but you might be fighting an uphill battle compared to promoting newer offers that still have untapped angles and less competition.

One example is Lipozem — it’s relatively new, and from what I’ve heard, it’s done over $300M in sales last year. Could be worth exploring.

2 – About your traffic source:

Google Ads is powerful, but for beginners with limited budget, it can drain your funds fast before giving traction.

You might consider focusing more on Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) or even TikTok Ads first — they tend to give faster feedback loops and are often more forgiving in the testing phase.

Once you have a solid converting funnel, you can expand to Google with more confidence and a bigger budget.

3 – About your bridge page:

You mentioned it’s clean and simple, which is great — but in some cases, too professional-looking pages can feel like an ad, which lowers curiosity.

I’d recommend testing a more advertorial-style page, something that feels more like a blog post from a news portal.

The goal is to warm up the user emotionally and trigger curiosity before they hit the VSL. Don’t over-polish the page — raw, “native” looking designs often convert better.

4 – About the niche:

Weight loss is extremely competitive. The audience is skeptical, tired of scams, and constantly bombarded with offers.

Not saying it’s impossible — but it’s HARD! You might see faster traction testing smaller niches where the audience is more niche-specific and less jaded. Think sleep, dental, vision, prostate or ED.

You’re doing a lot of things right already. With a few pivots and smart testing, you’ll get there.

The approach is perfect from my end, although as you mentioned you're going with big budget for now, google ads specifically for US geo is a bit more expensive and if you want your product to be shown more often, you would need to invest more than your competitors. I would suggest to go with social platforms like meta(fb, insta), maybe tiktok, Pinterest etc. They are budget friendly and would help you engage some results in starting, once you see the offer is rolling, you can switch to google with great budget to absolutely smassh it.

also i see you're working with weight loss product from clickbank, how much are they paying per conversion, what are the payment terms you're getting their? like on weekly basis or monthly?
The reason why i am asking this is we are an affiliate marketing network that is working with top and direct advertiser's in the industry. For weight loss category, we have the best performing campaigns with the most highest payouts and the quickest payment terms to serve. I want to see if we can offer you with better offer and better options so you could make more than what you spend

Yes, I'm currently promoting Java Burn, and according to ClickBank, the average payout per conversion is $165.32, with a future rebill of $39.61. It's still performing well, so I decided to start testing it before moving on to other offers.


Right now, what I’m really looking for is advice from experienced affiliates like you — I’m new to this space and doing my best to learn everything I can, test smart, and move step by step.
