Reselling domain names?

Hi there,

I'm new to this site and new to domain names! Having spent hours searching for more information about what it means to buy and resell domain names and still not feeling like I understand it- I thought I'd ask some people in the know!

As far as I am aware- it is possible to buy an unused domain name that you think is original enough for someone to want to use it one day and not use it, but wait until you are approached by a buyer and sell it at a profit. Is this correct? Just to be clear, I'm not looking to make loads of money like this, I would just be interested in perhaps buying one or two and seeing what happened- even if I only made a tiny bit of money I think it would be worthwhile. Also, as far as I know, it is illegal to know about a company or person who will need a certain domain name and then buy the domain before they do with the intention of trying to sell it to them when they come to need it, right?

I do not want to do anything illegal or do this if it is generally considered an underhand and annoying thing only done by scammers- but the problem is, I just dont know whether it is or not? Some people who write very useful web guides online claim to do this professionally and there doesn't seem to be anything bad about it, but then I have also come across info which says its a dodgy thing to do?

If someone could tell me anything about this subject I'd be very grateful. Apologies if this is a stupid question!

Reselling Domains

Yes, you can buy used domain but the conditions are, that domain should be expired and no-one using that. Means if an existing client does not wish to continue with his domain after expiration and it goes to available for registration or if no-one using that domain be confirm that it is available for renewal and you can use that domain name. But these steps are used for after the expiration or cancellation of that domain.

Nowadays, it's very difficult to find good domains which can be registered and then sold and hence I would recommend to you check the scope of domains before purchasing them for reselling purpose.

yes what the reason of purchase the use domain only one day because one in other forum i read about that the person who want to sell the domain use one two day do you agree with them then i talk to him.

reselling domain names is not that easy. better is you should consider website flipping. it can be easily done.
