Voluum Android App
I'm proud to announce that our Android app is now live and available from the Google Play store: Voluum - Affiliate Tracking - Android Apps on Google Play You can test it out quickly by logging in as a guest.
The App is read-only allowing you to quickly check your stats on the fly - we've added device authentication for ease of access and you can manage your trusted devices under settings/devices in the Voluum panel.
We now have 2 Android devs and 2 iOS devs and they will be working on the apps full time. The iOS app will be coming out soon as well. I'd like this thread to be the place where we gather feedback from you guys.
One of the next steps will be implementing push notifications so that you're notified when a campaign may require your attention (losing money, no conversions for x time etc.)

It’s official: Voluum introduced Anti-Fraud Kit earlier today to ALL Voluum clients regardless of their subscription plan! (w/ tutorial VIDEO)
Over the last year we've strengthened our belief that ad fraud is the next big thing we want to focus on so we started working on a fully fledged solution for bot and fraud filtering/reporting. And today our Anti-Fraud Kit came out of beta. It’s been automatically switched on for all Voluum accounts meaning it’s live and working without any action from the accounts’ owners needed!
Anti-Fraud Kit now allows you to identify invalid traffic and protect your advertising budgets from it. We are examining millions of events looking for unusual click patterns, event frequencies and other anomalies to name a few. The results of the analysis are delivered in comprehensive reports that are seamlessly combined with performance metrics.
Through a set of anti-fraud metrics, you can now easily detect which publishers are selling suspicious visits and clicks and stop buying from them. No more money wasted on bot traffic. Additionally, the Anti-Fraud Kit gives you access to precise fraud reports and they are the undeniable evidence for charge-back procedures against fraudulent publishers.

A percentage of visits flagged by at least one metric as suspicious - Suspicious clicks
A percentage of clicks flagged by at least one metric as suspicious (if you use landing pages in your campaign funnel).

- Anti-Fraud Metrics a list of metrics to help you identify invalid traffic
- Data centers
Voluum uses Pixalate to identify if the IP address behind a visit or click originated from known data centers. If identifies as such it is more likely to be invalid. - Fast clickers
Based on the idea that visitors have some delay between viewing an ad and clicking on it. Voluum flags visits or clicks with a time window between displaying and clicking the ad shorter than 800 ms. - Frequent events
If a number of events a certain IP address generates exceeds 60 per minute such an IP is flagged in Voluum as it is highly likely that those events are of non-human origin. - Unrecognized devices
With a help of third-party services, Voluum detects a user agent's class. Most legitimate traffic has a recognizable device class of user agents so an unrecognizable class may indicate traffic of an uncertain origin. - Unrecognized user agent
User agent information should be passed in a proper format and most of the traffic follows it. If there is a different format used in an event, it will be flagged. - Badly ranked websites
Voluum gathers aggregated information from various antivirus engines, website scanners, URL analysis tools and users' contribution to assess the overall reputation of a website. - Frequent campaign events
Similar to Frequent events, but aimed at one campaign only - more than 60 per minute generated and aimed at a particular campaign, the IP is flagged. - Library robots
Contrary to the Unrecognized devices metric, as it recognizes the user agent’s class as a library. Library class may refer to PHP, Java or other programs that are behind a visit. They do not necessarily have malicious intent, they might be simply scanning website content for various reasons and generate traffic in this process. - Unsupported OS version
A visitor’s operating system that is old and not supported for a very long time is unlikely to be of a human origin.
- Data centers
- Time-To-Convert Metrics a list of metrics that focus on the time it took a visitor to convert after clicking an advertisement
- Mean Time-To-Convert
Mean time between impression and installation, i. e. how much time, on average, a visitor is considering taking your offer before converting. - Time-To-Convert ranges, a number of conversions that have occurred:
- below the Low Time-To-Convert (TTC),
- between the Low and the High TTC
- and above the High (TTC) set thresholds.
- Mean Time-To-Convert
- Traffic Log a CSV report with raw visit data
It can show you the following data for each visit:
Traffic Source ID, Flow ID, Path ID, Lander ID, Affiliate Networks and Offers Map, Client Domain, Transport Protocol, IP, Country Code, City, Connection Type Code, Mobile Carrier, ISP, Referrer, User Agent, Language Code, Brand, Model, OS, Device, OS Version, Browser, Browser Version, Device ID Type, Device ID, Custom Variable 1-10, Click ID, Visit Timestamp, External ID, Cost and from now on the Anti-Fraud Kit metrics
- IP / UA Filtering functionality to block unwanted traffic using IP addresses or IP ranges or user agent names
IP/UA Filtering excludes IP addresses you add, IP ranges, and UA values from accessing your campaigns and so protects your stats.
- Honeypot a script to be placed on the landing page
After placing on your landing page, it will create an invisible link that humans won’t see but bots will click. Voluum then tracks these clicks and shows you where they come from.

Voluum introduces notes!
Long story short - we added notes to campaign, offer and lander forms.
Now you can write short notes there, instead of placing them in the entities’ name (or taking notes in txt files / spreadsheets etc.).

Multicurrency is now available in Voluum
From now on you can track your spend and revenue in multiple currencies at the same time, and also decide in which to display the financial data on your account. Voluum’s supporting all the major currencies (you can even see your profit in ounces of gold if you're into it).
As far as I can remember that was one of the most wanted features, so let's hope we've made lots of users happy!
How does it work?
By default, Voluum records cost and payout in USD and displays it in your account in USD - exactly how it used to.
But now, you’re able to change it and select:
Keep in mind:
If you change a payout currency, let's say from USD to GBP, all payout values from that point will be recorded in GBP. If you decide to change back to USD, it will affect all future payouts, not the ones already recorded in GBP. Do it wisely as you can’t edit the recorded data.
Changing a display currency affects only how your data is presented in your Voluum account - you can switch it back and forth.

How does it work?
By default, Voluum records cost and payout in USD and displays it in your account in USD - exactly how it used to.
But now, you’re able to change it and select:
- cost currency - in traffic source settings
- payout currency
per offer - in offer settings
per affiliate network - in affiliate network settings (though currency set in an offer element overrides currency set in an affiliate network element (!))

- display currency - in general settings of your Voluum account (Account settings → General Settings → Default currency)
Keep in mind:
