EMD - Exact Matching Domain - the exact keyword which you are using should not be in the
domain. Google will penalize the website

EMD stands for exact match domain. If your domain is similar to search query then will rank down for your site if your site quality is too low.

Right. It perfectly worked ~6 years ago.
That time having EMD almost guaranteed you top 3 in low competition niches, even if your site had 3 articles, $5 each on fiverr))
Now it doesn't work this way. (Btw, I'm still seeing some exceptions, but I think there are other reasons for those sites to be in top.)
