What is the Impact of Alexa on SERP

hi all,
Many a times I see a site with a good alexa rank ranking lower than a site with Poor (as compared to other) Alexa rank.
you can see it by searching "seo forum" (without quote)
highrankings (Alexa Rank =78393) appear above digitalpoint forum (alexa rank =1578)
search "articles" (without quote)
findarticles (alexa = 886) above ezinearticles (alexa = 318)
there a lot more examples.

I have just a simple question.
Does Alexa Play any role in improving SERP?

Alexa plays no role in SEARPs as far as I am aware.

Alexa only considers traffic from people who have loaded alexa toolbar. As far as SERPS are considered they are not affected due to alexa

Nothing. It's just a measure of how well you rank amongst other websites.

None. Personally, i'm using Alexa just for global traffic statistics.

As far as I know they have no relation on serp.

i agree SERPs can't be attributed to Alexa rankings, but SERPs can affect Alexa rankings.
