I have used Norton in the past and no doubt that it's pretty good but I personally think its a little too heavy on the system. Now I use ESET, am well happy with it.

Kaspersky and Magican.
Kaspersky is a good antivirus app but take long time in scanning.
Magican can detect/delete viruses in seconds but can't check antivirus in real time.

I use NOD and Kaspersky and pretty satisfied with them. The only thing is that Kaspersky takes a lot of RAM but everything depends on the system.
