I'm getting confused about the reason you send the traffic to your site...
I expected this to be
1/ chase a conversion through an optimized landing page
2/ equally grab the audience's attention so they might come back / convert later...
3/ eventually tag the customer through an FB pixel so you could remarket them later on FB

But since you mention
50% will direct straight to offer
50% will direct to sales lander on my site
This looks like a standard affiliate offer meaning your landing page should be fully optimized for warming-up traffic for conversions...
That page will probably not look like any other page on your site because you want to remove all distractions ...
The only button on the page should lead them to the offer... No menu, no nothing except maybe for your legal links in the footer (open these in a new tab)

If you consider the straight to offer option, check if the offer landing page is suitable for converting cold traffic? If not push traffic might not be the best choice...
To sales lander on your site... This should be built to 'warm up' the audience before sending it to the offer page...

Yes, don't waste your money.
Please, Don't send visitors to your site. I'm sure you can't make sales, because push traffic is with low quality.
If you want to invest this 100 $ in push traffic better create squeeze page where you can collect your visitors emails. Give them something for free - ebook "fashion tendencies in 2021" for example. After they subscribe you can start sending them emails with "hot offers" .
This obviously means you are letting yourself into yet another marketing strategy... Email marketing...

Sorry to waste your time, but decided not to go ahead with push ads for now

At this stage, you need to find high-quality traffic interested in your niche, preferably with buying intent...
As a Newbie, Push Traffic will not be able to deliver that...

I gave the campaign mentioned by Aiden a quick shot, direct linking to the offer as in the case study and stopping sources sending over 100 clicks without conversion... Very different ad creatives (they all delivered about equal CTR so I don't expect wonders from other creatives)
This offer worked in the case study, my AM at Zeydoo pointed it out to me and Aiden managed to get nice results...

$37 spent over 4 days... almost a full dollar in payouts...
(I stopped the campaign, it's likely to bring me some more conversions as not all notifications have been opened... so I might hit the full dollar :rofl )

A conversion ratio of 0.5%... Aiden had a CR of over 20%... So I admit I'm lost here... I guess I should have used an LP but with the simple flow of the offer, I don't see how that could have improved enough to multiply the CR by high numbers...

I guess I need to learn a lot more about push traffic but don't know where to start really...

All this just to show you that your 100$ indeed had a big chance of being invested in data not helping you forward right now...

But these are my results, nothing typical, Aiden did way better on the same campaign...
(which for me would one have resulted in break-even so even my ad CTR would require improvement, or maybe just different Geo...)

I direct linked, which geos did you target? When I tested an lp my cr was terrible. Nigeria worked the best for me.
finally did you do cpm or cpc.
I’m also lost as to how your results were so bad.
Some geos don’t convert so if you targeted tier1 geos, there’s the issue. From my experience it’s only tier 3 that actually convert in volume.

India is a difficult geo to target due to the massive volumes of bot traffic and low payouts. The bot traffic is the worst I have ever seen, Android 8 producing the most.
I reported these results to my AM... Maybe he can tell me something more...

Still have a goal written down for 2021 --> invest $100 in push ads and generate $200
Will require total focus, so once the SEO site is consistently earning $67/day ($2k/mo)

  2. Narrow it down to transactional queries for products listed on networks I've joined
  3. Filter only items on sale 40-50% discount/bulk buy offer/2-for-1
  4. Create optimized product page with images, testimonials, video, FAQ, clear CTA (all the good stuff recommended by Landing Page Guys on YouTube)
  5. Then see what happens !!
That is still possible with SEO (if you update multiple times a day), PPC, YouTube, and social media

So with push ads I'm not sure how this stratgey would work..

My advice to you would be to save up a healthy budget you can spend on google ads. This way you will be targeting people interested in your niche. google has much higher quality traffic. Display may be better for you, this allows you to show off your product.

Agree with this since @Honeybadger is running SEO pages any ads should bring some benefits to the page/site rankings...

If this is not the case the whole campaign should be treated independently from the main site/page so different (disposable) domain and fully conversion-optimized pages...

Would it be a good idea to use a keyword research tool first?
I suppose these tools give you live information on what is being searched right now!
Look for keywords close/related to the ones you're already working with...
Then throw them in Google trends to see if they are a good idea to pursue...

I think it won't... I'm being told push can only work on very broad offers, targeting an as wide audience as possible...

I use very broad product name or problem-related search terms on Trends, related to my niche
Actually I don't search Trends often, the list drops automatically to my mailbox daily (top SEO tip !!)
Normally 1 word (2 max)
Copy anything with transactional intent
Then check search vol with Ubersuggest
If it's 1,000/mo and just hit a 400%+ increase in Trends ..
.. time to create and promote content !!
That's a fun part of SEO
BTW nobody is an expert in SEO,
Even the Google team openly say they are learning every day
I think as a community we can be expert in SEO
A person can have an area of SEO specialism
But individually it's pretty much impossible for one person to be an SEO expert
So if you see that call them out "what EXACTLY are you expert in?"

If, and only if, the ads generate good metrics for your website.
Expecting immediate cash on cash returns may not be that realistic.​
Or maybe, I am full of shit --and it's just a waste of money :D
I tried that approach with ads->social media->to a webcam whitelabel and just managed to near break even​
