Oh Lord!
I forgot the most important part @T J Tutor
IF I need 78,400 visits this month for 4,704 banner clicks to rack up 70 sales ($5,950) and earn $595 commission
THEN I need 2,614 visits every day for 157 banner clicks to rack up 2.5 sales ($200 and earn $20 commission)

2614 /7

If this is organic search engine traffic

7 / 2614

Your site may be being boted and scraped BIG TIME --those are really bad numbers IMHO for organic traffic looks like fake clicks --unless the economy has really gotten that bad now?

Hundreds of tool users checking your website maybe?

Don't feel bad: my push traffic from DE is 40% questionable t-ipconnect.de proxy or tor --I just discovered. Maybe $12.00 worth but it distorts your metrics badly.
I dont get much bot traffic
Google Search Console shows me queries
its 97% organic Google traffic
I can see metric is Google Analytics too
people are looking for products
I post about products
people like post and click banner

metric & date & plan & action = success
and Im not sober! o_O
cos of @iamb also have commission formula
@Graybeard yes I know these figures are small fish right now
and yes I know 1 traffic source is dangerous
but it the only 1 Im good at

Progress
  • $465 commission past 30 days
  • gotta say again it all started after I set GOALS and DATES
  • posting many blog entries needs a publishing calendar (no ifs no buts)
  • you also need a blog post template (step by step with links)
  • you can get many free high quality images
  • before you post a blog read customer questions
    • answer customer questions in blog
  • if you dont get clicks try different banners and different positions
  • try obsessively posting about one type of product & see what happens

I forgot the most important part

I feel you, but this is misinformation for a couple of reasons. Those numbers are not constants and they are dependent on organics. One of the most important characteristics of "diving for dollars" with organic traffic is that it is a moving target and not at all targeted for soooooo many key traffic needs.

Some of what you are encountering at the moment is due to the 2022 May Google update that in many ways replicates the results, but magnified, of the 2011 Google Panda Update. Think of some of the update as a Top 100 of some kind that you made in 2020. This year you update it, and it has changed. Some on the list move up, some move down, others are replaced. While Google is always, daily making these changes, they do massive updates every few years that are dramatic by comparison and when this happens your results will change.

So ask yourself, what is this new 2022 update doing to you, well, Google says it is very similar to their panda update which really focused more than 80% of its new algo's on content and now they say they have tightened the reigns. Google says with absolution that "We suggest focusing on ensuring you're offering the best content you can, that's what our algorithms seek to reward".

Now, I also want you to consider another metric that nobody in this thread is considering, in fact most organic traffic conversations overlook this point. You are telling me that you are getting 1 in 67 banner clicks to convert using only organic. If those banners were on Google as a paid banner, and those banners had improved copy, angles, hooks, and triggers that were professionally created, I am betting your ROI would improve, be easier to predict, and be completely scalable and easily replicated. This is something you really and truly must develop within yourself going forward. In the words of Elmer Wheeler, "You need to know how to sell the sizzle and not the steak". learning these skills puts you on the road to a top 10 affiliate!

@T J Tutor any power blogging tips?

Well, without seeing the site(s), it is difficult to provide specifics. In addition, I don't create blogs myself at the moment. I did many years back create site after site, I think I had over 20 WP sites at one point. Now my focus is 25% CPA with landers and 75% full stack content sites.

Here is the most important thing to remember, anything that makes someone stay, come back, re-use, re-purchase, etc., etc., is where the professionalisms are absolutely required for development. I remember the early days with my first full stack site, it was amazing how quickly the results occurred. I had my new full stack developer take the HTML site I had built with some part time dev guys that specialized in specific areas and redevelop it as a completely managed full stack site. It was expensive, it was mind bending somedays, it was nerve racking at first. Then I sent my first full set of split tests on paid traffic, refined my tests, and landed on 2 campaigns out of 10. Within 10 days I had earned more than I had in the previous two months!

My advice is always, get the best to get the best results! No matter what your doing in this business, find a path to the top 10% and do what it takes to stay there.

It may be anecdotal; but my click rate on ads has declined substantially.
There could be other reasons but I don't think non human traffic is the issue.

There is a current economic problem and a diversion of spending to essentials by many people for the reason of an inflation squeeze in gasoline, gas and the electricity generated from it. Then there is the stress of the war and political stability in Europe as well as general distress over the school shooting this week in Texas.

A lot of negatives to deal with at once ... People are still spending money --but many are being very cautious.
Raising interest rates is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Seriously: a 3.88% loss :D Personally I am down 6.20% and many investors are doing a lot worse.

Do you send google paid traffic to your CPA landers?

I use paid traffic for every lander and every site. Mostly Google and some Facebook.

what do you mean by full stack content sites, please?

A full stack developer is a person who can develop both client and server software. There are different types of full stack developers, though most today are web oriented. I went back to school in my forties on full scholarship at Syracuse University to get my credentials updated in client server development. I was a full stack developer and I developed loan origination software for the banking industry. Some of my friends at school were training to be full stack developers in web development. At the time, mobile development was just getting started and it was mostly all gaming with a smattering of client server development mostly in the utility software niches. Today, more than 70% of full stack developers are web oriented. Simply put, a full stack developer is a coder that is trained and highly proficient in building out the complete software or coding requirements for specific solution. This requires the individual to be completely proficient in every language required for the development solution, both front end and back end. Web oriented full stackers are typically fully and completely trained in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Vue, PHP, ASP, Python, Node, and more.

There could be other reasons but I don't think non human traffic is the issue.
checking all the traffic starting to identify so new bots that are evading the filters --this is all DE, CH, AT traffic haven't checked that much for its "bottiness" So, maybe this is some explanation for the low 'bot and bogey' count. Another think is that this area is in the European 'war' theater. But spending a few euros on:
Exklusive deutschsprachige Live Webcam Sex Models -- Dazukommen!
Zugang zu hunderten Live-Webcams und Live-Sex-Shows.
Heiße Frauen und Mädchen warten Zuhause auf geilen Webcamsex

I thought it might have been my AI German language was bad?
Now I have to sort (research) all of this data 10% are NXDOMAIN bots? I need to find the sites they came from and if it is worth blacklisting them >20% bot they need to be looked at >if there is substantial click out volume

Pain in the ass basically but bots and junk (bogeys) do not buy what I am selling and just distort the true costs and epc

$550 commission past 30 days
nearly 20% of visitors are returning
but bounce has increased from 40% to 65%
the main bounce page has avg 2 minutes dwell time
seems visitors like the updated content
--> 15 or 20 new posts every day
but majority dont click on the posts
my website focus on many fashion brands
maybe the visitors are looking for another brand
so I will focus on top 10 most popular brands
& post more about those brands
it will increase CTR
and hopefully more visitors will click banners
because each post has branded banners
unique to each brand on each post
am learning to succeed as I fail

  4. do you ever get burnout or creative block? if yes how do you manage it?
  5. how can I upscale without outsourcing?

  1. I do extensive reading in two primary areas, and have several secondary and tertiary areas I read when able
    1. I read daily everything my competitors write.
    2. I read everything in the news I can find regarding my niches.
    3. I glance through social media looking for the pain and the success of the public experiences in my niches.
  2. I have used many storyboard software over time and they are very effective, but typically many of them are a bit more comprehensive than I require. In the end, I created my own template in Word. I keep the story board simple and I have created macros in VBA to assist with some portions of the content creation and management.
  3. It has been many years since I have developed anything in WP. I once used it in abundance, but it was changing rapidly during the years I used it and changes seem to escalate from one year to the next. I liked it at the time, it did the job, but I moved on and really have few recommendations I can make for it at the moment.
  4. YES! This happens to everyone. It is generally that one always finds the topics required, but finding the thoughts and getting them organized is where it falls apart and we generally call it "writers block". It isn't that we don't know what to write, it is typically we simply run into a wall when structuring and organizing what to write and for whom. It is different with fiction, there one has to create the topics and subjects. We don't do this, at least not with regularity. We are typically writing about facts and seeking to write alluring information to cause an action. For what we do, we must become experts in angles, hooks, and triggers. Whether it is our creatives, our landers, our content sites, our social articles, etc., we must be masters of writing copy that forms our copy and content into ultra appealing information to an individual that causes action resulting in conversions. To move past any form of writers block, I highly recommend recreation with the phone turned off, the computers turned off, and loads of peer interaction. This is what does it for me.
  5. I am heavily dependent on outsourcing as are most all of our contemporaries. I started with myself, then went to outsourcing, and now I have a team. You cannot construct a building, a bridge, a road, be a surgeon, run for office, train for the Olympics, create and grow a company, or raise a family completely alone. It simply isn't appropriate for anyone to convince themselves they can move beyond a specific point in their individual achievements and successes entirely on their own.
