Thanks for responding so fast! You're an inspiration for me TBH since I've joined. I've read your 2-3 follow-along that you have here and I'm planning to follow a similar journey to yours very soon. I'm still in the brainstorming phase but plan to start very soon.

But 3 questions if I can;

Wouldn't the customers find it weird to go on your site and click on your product only to then be redirected to another site (Amazon)?
Me for example if I went to a site to buy something and got redirected to Amazon I would be wondering what's going on.. Am I overthinking?

Quite possibly
But I have made a lot of sales this way
Also many people trust Amazon
So it probably works the other way too
I also make it clear they are buying from Amazon
So not total shock

Also - You mention using blog posts and links to redirect to your product page. Do you post these blog entries on the same site where your product is? (IE: Let's say you're selling a Patagonia Frozen Range jacket for winter). Do you write posts on your main page like ''These Are The 5 Winter Jackets That Everyone Should Have'' and then in it you add a backlink to your product page? Or do you use another source (forums, external site, etc..)?

Yes posts are on site
But they only account for 2 or 3 % of sales
Most sales are from super optimized product pages
Which outrank Amazon
Why? Because Amazon uses on page with variations
I never ever do this
My SEO beats Amazon

What kind of video are you using exactly? Do you mean the video that Amazon provide sometimes on the product page or do you do research about the product and make/edit one of your own to promote it?

I use the youtube product video and embed it
Amazon rarely uses videos
Thats why my SEO outranks Amazon

Spent 9 hours on websites today
Getting many admin tasks done
Keeping an affiliate website diary using Word document
Also updating website setup Word document
To make it easier for future setups (automating everything possible)
Gone back to basics now
Working two jobs
A regular day job
Affiliate marketer evenings & weekends
The Lord only knows why I had to learn all this the hard way
Should have been full timer by now

If you want to understand why more people aren't talking about this system
Here's my theory
Successful affiliates don't want to share their secrets
The overwhelming majority of everybody else will quickly give up
A small percentage are committed but not successful yet
I'm in this bracket
As are a few other active members of Affiliate Fix

Target: 40 niche affiliate sites making $10 per day =
$400 per day by Christmas

Been 13 months since I started
Made $13k so far
Spent all of it, dumbass, nearly broke
Not a problem, life is short
Now I'm starting again
Launching 40 affiliate websites at once
Different niches, target audience is USA and UK
Always get converting traffic from other places
Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa plus Europe
But UK and USA are my most profitable markets
All the sites are related to products and services
Will probably add 10-20 more when funds allow
Niche sites about single products
90% are winter/festive related
1st update in a few minutes
Gonna keep this simple and organized
Step by step so you can copy what I'm doing
From experience - this affiliate marketing thing really works!!!
Side note - I will be donating 10% of what I earn to charities helping people get off drugs and start a new career

4 weeks to Christmas Eve
Earned only $50 affiliate commission in past 7 days
Truth is guys I haven't been on it
Didn't prepare for Black Friday
Only spent 5 hours this week updating my sites
Working my regular job out in the cold
Getting home tired and unmotivated
Making a stir fry
Having a few drinks with friends
Watching clips from Sopranos on YouTube
Then going to bed
and repeating it again, and again
That's the barren truth of it
In 2020 I got real close to being a full time affiliate
Sorry for letting you all down this year
@T J Tutor in particular has helped me
Other former mods and regulars to like @Graybeard
I really want to get back on track
and share some more success stories with you

I think Black Friday is well over-played.
The data feeds would have indicated the Black Friday discount items from Amazon,
This is why you have to automate --your links are in the email is archaic.
