What is the best way to learn SEO?

I'm still new but learning about SEO. I'm trying to figure out what the best way to learn from it is. It's not like you can go to a school and ask for SEO courses. It's something that's always changing and I'm sure there's several guides or tools that people use to learn SEO. The experienced users have learned from somewhere...so where did you learn from and what do you look for before you relay on the information?

There are number of websites available in search engine, which contains hundreds of articles about seo and its complete guide..You can search through search engines and get lots of important and wonderful stuff to get knowledge,....

Use the resources mentioned to learn what SEO is about but the difficult part would be putting the knowledge into use. Like everything else to learn something you have to practice a lot. To be good at SEO then it won't happen overnight because you've read about how it's done. The practical part is the hardest. You'll have to write, make mistakes, learn from the mistakes, get some more knowledge from other places, apply what you learn. . .

To cut a long story short you learn SEO by actually getting into the trenches and doing some Search Engine Optimization [whether you get results from your efforts or not] That's the only and best way.

And remember that SEO is an ever changing world. Especially since Google is so prone on changing their algorithms.
So keep on checking those resources every 6 months or so, don't always stick with something that works for you today.

I recommend searching for SEO websites and blogs. That's how I started learning when I first heard about the term SEO. I highly suggest you check out MOZ. It's one of the most popular SEO blogs and it contains a wealth of information for all SEO enthusiasts, from beginners to seasoned veterans. And of course, the best way to learn is through experience. Apply all the things you read to your own sites and see the results for yourself.

Practice, research, and ask questions. It's also good to have someone mentor you that's experienced in the field.
